Olin
College has partnered with TAC
Centre to provide support
for the college’s
Nortel CSE1000 Voice over IP PBX. TAC
Centre works with
the college’s staff in coordinating patching and
upgrading of the system as necessary and remotely monitors
the system on a 24x7x365 basis.
TAC Centre is providing the college with exceptional
service and excellent response time. A good example of
that service is when a test of the emergency power systems
occurred. Within 2 minutes of the shutdown which temporarily
disabled our network services, TAC
Centre was paging
Olin personnel to alert them of a problem. To us, this
demonstrated that TAC Centre Engineering personnel were
100% on top of their job.
TAC Centre’s entire staff
has excellent technical knowledge of the Nortel product
line and routinely keeps
the college apprised of the timelines and implications
of product life cycle for the college. TAC
Centre personnel
are provided with ongoing professional development and
training which keeps all of the technicians current in
terms of troubleshooting possible issues as well as solutions.
Olin College and TAC Centre meet on a quarterly basis
to insure that our relationship is working for both of
us. This also provides a convenient way to address any
concerns, issues, or updates on either of our parts.
Overall, Olin College could not be more pleased with
the service and support provided by TAC for our leading
edge IP system. We would not hesitate to recommend TAC Centre highly to anyone.
